The Executive Committee of the SD-LECC is currently seeking candidates to fill the
senior staff position of Deputy Director. This position is dependent upon HIDTA Grant
funding.

The SD-LECC is an intelligence fusion center, serving the San Diego/Imperial counties
region. Fusion Centers are a national effort aimed at improving information sharing,
as it relates to criminal and terrorism intelligence, between federal, state, and local
agencies, as well as with other public safety and private sector entities. While this
Deputy Director position historically has been associated with the legacy Narcotic
Information Network (NIN), the role has been greatly expanded and now involves a
much more “Intelligence and Analysis” focus. The SD-LECC is recognized by the
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as an intelligence fusion center.
